Improved Animal Massage Therapy Law
I am proud to tell you that the law regarding animal massage therapy is changed! Governor Christine Gregoire
signed her name on SB 5403 making it into law.
The law basically states that professional animal massage therapists must have 300 hours of training in order to be certified in Washington.
I want to thank the Senators Brandland and Rasmussen along with their staff, my lobbyist, friends, family and those who testified in favor of the bill for their strong support and energy! The elective officials, individuals, associations, and training schools/programs relating to animal massage therapy will continue to regulate and improve the law of this area in Washington.
