Dr Vaughn Brown Sets the Table for a Feast of God’s Word, Revelation and Manifesting Power –City Harvest Church Sydney, Australia was host to Dr Vaughn Brown and his wife, Lady Grace for a two week empowerment outpouring.

We will never be the same.

A new reality is born. The reality I once knew is now but an illusion; and everything that seemed an unreachable dream is now possible.

Let me start by introducing myself. My name is Amanda (a.k.a. Mandy). When Dr Vaughn and the beautiful Lady Grace asked me to write an article about their time while serving us at City Harvest Church; I was – and am – truly honored and humbled. It has been such a blessing to be given an opportunity to exercise a passion I have kept buried on the inside for my whole life (well, at least since I could write that is!).

Dr Vaughn and Lady Grace saw something within me that I had dismissed in my own consciousness. Even as the words begin to flow and fall onto the page, I am becoming more and more empowered to reach for my destiny in Christ and be everything I know I was created to be. The inspiration and empowerment that I have received through this anointing and ministry, and in such a short period of time; is testament to the calling and purpose over Dr Vaughn’s life as an “Empowerment Consort” and an “Instrument of Change”.

Dr Vaughn is playing to a tune that is seeing lives changed, hearts transformed and people saved. I am one of many who can affirm that his teachings, encouragement and Christ-like example in “doing good” can birth change for the better, and it leads people into their destinies. I can see a great future and it’s hopeful.

So, please join me as I share the joy, breakthroughs and overall impact that our two weeks with Dr Vaughn Brown has had on the church and in the individual lives of the many who attended the various services and intimate meetings with the man of God.

From the very first service on the evening of Friday 8^th of March, it was evident that Dr Vaughn Brown was not like any other ‘guest preacher’ that we had met or seen before. The moment he took to the stage, it was clear that this was a “leader ready to lead”.

What Dr Vaughn brought to the table was a banquet of God inspired word and truth, Holy Spirit manifestations and deep revelation. The preaching was like a breath of fresh air, it was profound and original; and much of what was shared was unlike any word that had been spoken before. We were certainly not going to be bottle fed by this preacher! This was to be a feast on solid food – good food for the mind, body, soul and spirit. Anyone with a readiness to receive, believe and prosper walked out of the meetings with a new testimony, a hope for the future, supernatural faith and an “indication of courage” that can change one’s life and lead them into a victorious future in Christ.

“Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong”. Corinthians 16:13.

During the course of the two weeks with Dr Vaughn and Lady Grace; and in the weeks after their departure – I have been so blessed to have crossed paths with a number of people who have been able to testify to the significance of the anointed ministry of this humble man of God. While putting this article together, it made only perfect sense to me that I should voice what God has done in the lives of those who were ministered to by Dr Vaughn and bring Glory back to the Father. It has been my pleasure to meet and partner with the following people to write about their testimonies. I only wish that I could have included further testimonies as I know there are mountains more, but I believe that as time goes by they will be attested to.

My question to them was simple; tell me how Dr Vaughn’s ministry has impacted you personally?

Testimony – Stephanie Johnson: (also lovingly known as Auntie Steph).

In the weeks leading up to Dr Vaughn’s visit Steph was in a period of prayer and fasting as she was at a crossroads in her relationship with her now ex-fiancé. She was going through a difficult time of confusion due to a breakdown in the relationship and was ready for God to bring forth her breakthrough. Steph was seeking answers and confirmation from the Lord on what she should do next in her situation?

Steph got her breakthrough and confirmation the very first night Dr Vaughn preached. She explains, “There is no doubt that Dr Vaughn’s ministry and preaching is powerful and anointed”.  The very same day that Dr Vaughn first came to preach; Steph had received a direct word from the Lord on what she should do in her current situation. “I knew it was God speaking to me; however I needed to get confirmation from the Lord. Astonishingly, within the first few minutes of the preaching- Dr Vaughn was confirming what the Lord had revealed to me that same day! It was my rhema. It is amazing knowing God knows what you are going through and sends a word at exactly the right time. It was as if Dr Vaughn had picked up my medical records and diagnosed my situation”.

As a result of that first meeting and the subsequent preaching and teachings over the two weeks – Stephanie was able to gain the courage and supernatural strength which she describes as “a physical armor”; to move forward with her life and recover surprisingly quickly from the break up that she says was the hardest break up she had ever had to deal with.

Without spending any personal time with Dr Vaughn herself, Stephanie received a breakthrough and what can only be described as a supernatural impartation of courage and strength to deal with what was a confusing and difficult time in her life. She was given the ability to see beyond the heartache and her own desires and make a life altering decision that has sent her on a new path of her destiny.

It doesn’t stop there. Not only was Stephanie personally impacted by Dr Vaughn’s ministry in her own walk with God, but a prophetic declaration that was prayed over her at the very first meeting was to come to pass before Dr Vaughn and Lady Grace were to leave Australia to head home to the USA.

On the morning of March 24th, at our Sunday morning service Stephanie shared with the congregation an amazing testimony of a personal prophetic word that she received from Dr Brown about her brother in America, which had completely come to pass – and within only two weeks of it being professed! I met with Steph a couple of weeks after she had shared her testimony in church to talk more about her experience;

“My brother, who had got into trouble with the law years ago, was released from prison but still had an electronic tracking device attached to his leg. When Dr Brown was prophesying that night he said; ‘I see someone for you who has been imprisoned and he has a shackle on his leg – but I hear the doors being opened and the shackles falling off’. “It was just five days earlier that my brother had called me and had asked that I stand in prayer with him as he felt it was not the will of God and so he asked me to go into some intercessory prayer for him to be released. I started to pray for him during the course of that week.”

As soon as Steph heard the word from Dr Vaughn, she knew straight away it was for her as she knew who was in that exact situation. “I called my brother that night after the service”. Steph‘s brother had an amazing thing to share saying; ‘I was literally praying and asking God to do something and it would have been around the time the man of God was prophesying!’.

Steph and her family continued to pray about her brother’s situation – and believed for God’s word to come to pass, but didn’t know when it would be fulfilled?

Only ten days after receiving the prophecy, Stephanie received a phone call from her brother who stated that the officer had come to his home that day to confirm that they have decided to take the shackle off his legs!! They no longer saw any reason why they should track and monitor him and decided to do away with it. Two days later he was fully released – and the shackle was removed from his legs, just as Dr Vaughn had foreseen.

That is what you call a true prophet, as the word says in Jeremiah 28:9; “But the prophet who prophesies peace will be recognized as one truly sent by the Lord only if his prediction comes true.”(NIV).  “The prophecy that was given that night by Dr Vaughn was what I believe helped unlock my brother’s deliverance. Sometimes God gives a word and we don’t realize we have to pray and help pull it down from the heavens into the earth”.

Stephanie has been so blessed and encouraged by Dr Vaughn’s ministry and is thankful that God sent this man of God for her. “I pray that the ministry of Dr Vaughn and his wife, Lady Grace will continue to flourish throughout the whole earth”. 

When a move of God happens at a time such as this, the only way is upwards and onwards. God’s timing is always right and our church, city and nation will not – it cannot- remain the same. This connection between cultures is nothing less than a plan designed by God.

Dr Brown’s ministry has built a foundation for greatness and virtue with a progressive anointing. In unison we can proclaim as a church and in our own lives, that “Today we are doing good. Tomorrow we will be great”. God is doing a new thing and it is good.
